I am passionate about helping students reduce stress and strategize ways to build a strong college application.
I earned a B.A. from UCLA, M.A. from NYU, and Certificate in College Admissions Advising from UC Berkeley Extension. Soon after graduating from NYU, I worked as a social worker in a variety of settings, including feminism and public policy, family foster care, families impacted by parental incarceration, and community based literacy programs. I have spent the last several years working as a private tutor for high school and college students, many of whom are nuerodiverse learners. I enjoy working with families and students of all academic backgrounds, listening to their dreams, and helping them achieve their goals.
I am first generation born American of parents of Central American descent. I am fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
